in en light

Self-understanding isn’t always pretty.

It’s not all joy and light some made
for streaming or MeTV moment. Some
times self-understanding is knowing
you have it inside you to do great
and terrible things. It’s knowing
you would burn the world to protect
those you love. So you better be careful
how many people you let yourself love.
History is full of people willing to destroy
the world in order to save it out of love.

History and Heaven are not kind them.

Harvest Moon, She Over Packs

The mid – autumn moon brings a host of bad decisions in her rucksack. Landscapes are scorched and drowned. All the most entertaining news is fit to print on stretched eyelids but all the poetry is waiting in the french press. The days ahead are already written and here I am, erasing them one syllable at a time.
