The storied water in dead eyes, 16

The trick is to let your disgust about the lingering death of civilization sweat out of you on the hot days. They will all feel like hot days. Then when it does rain you will feel that touch of salvation. It’s easy to believe in a god when it rains and the tomatoes in the garden at home aren’t struggling against the heat that doesn’t seem to slow down the squirrels.
